Tree packages

Starting with your English-born ancestor/s (usually a grandparent, but maybe a great grandparent), Family History Journey will search for your English ancestors - from early 20th century/19th century, back 2-3 generations, to early 19th century - using civil birth and marriage records and census returns.

You will receive a Tree charting your genealogy, together with a full research report, copies of each source certificate and census used, and suggestions for further research.

Biography package

Family History Journey will research the life of one ancestor born in the 19th century, including, where possible, their birth, baptism, marriage/s, death and burial/cremation, and their descendents. If applicable, it may also include their education and occupation/s or business, their places of residence, their migration, etc, as well as background information about historical context and places.

You will receive a carefully written biography, together with a research report, record copies and suggestions for further genealogical research.

Order a package

1. Decide which genealogy package meets your needs. Have any information you have about your English-born ancestor/s, click on the "Request" cart next to your chosen package and complete the details as best you can. (You will not be asked to pay until your request has been accepted.)

2. You will receive an email acknowledging your request, and within 5 days you will receive a call to confirm the details. If we can help, you will receive an email accepting your booking. Then, and only then, pay a deposit - 50% of the fee. Research into your English ancestry will then begin.

3. Research into your genealogy usually takes 6-10 weeks. Once it is complete, we will let you know and you will need to pay the balance of the fee to receive the results.
